Flea Market Media was conceived of as a way to bring artists and consumers together. It will provide a space where artists can build their portfolio and build their reputation. Unlike other sites that focus on one artistic medium, Flea Market Media will be home to a wide spectrum of art including graphic, video and music. Making digital browsing and delivery easy and simplifying the discovery and delivery process of physical art will be core features of the experience.
The arts industry can be both provincial and intimidatingly vast. Creators with an artistic temperament can be taken advantage of due to the intricacies of business contracts. Flea Market Media will put the artist in control of their own content. In doing so we will create a digital marketplace that allows consumers the freedom to find independent creative content creators who aren’t being pushed on them by corporations.

The pandemic related lockdowns, and travel restrictions have been difficult for artists who rely on interactions for inspiration and galleries or shops to exhibit and sell their art. Even in good times some of these spaces can be intimidating or closed to alternative artists. Flea Market Media will provide a welcoming space for both artists and consumers that is resilient to regulatory disruptions.
